McKayla Rose Maroney - also called 'Mack Air Maroney - is a well known American gymnast. In 2012's Summer Olympic Games 2012, she was awarded a team gold and the individual bronze medal. Her parents are involved with sports and that led her to take up gymnastics at an early age. She is a specialist in vaulting, and is the sole gymnast to successfully defend the gold medal she first earned in the 2011 World Championship, and later, she won it at the 2013 Championship. The disappointment she felt when she received the silver medal in 2012 for the vault was evident and she had hoped to earn another gold medal at her participation in the Rio Olympic Games of 2016. Due to a health issue and injuries, she decided her intention to quit before her departure from the Olympic Games. Alongside gymnastics, she's appeared in some television serials, and is looking to be a performer. McKayla is destined for an enviable future.
