Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's Lofaso invites guests to explore her inner world through the cuisine she creates. The curiosity in her grew after she left for the Long Island suburbs to explore the rich cultural diversity of Los Angeles. The carnetas and the Cavatelli She believes that they can exist together on the exact identical menu. Her sense of taste is continuously developing. The only thing that remains is her unique idea of the future and longingly recalling the old. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant that was founded by Lofaso in the year 2013. The restaurant was opened by her as a result of her American-born Italian heritage. The restaurant's take on traditional Italian is hailed by critics as being one of the top restaurants for Italian food within Los Angeles. The customers have described Scopa as a vital neighbourhood staple, where Lofaso always provides food that is genuine and incredibly satisfying. Lofaso learned from culinary giants who employed sophisticated methods. But, she was not afraid to take huge chances to honor her instincts. After a brief period her career, she was at the highest level of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Then she collaborated with many famous celebrities while transforming various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso joined forces together with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar which was a new bar situated in Studio City. Through Black Market and the business partnerships she formed Lofaso found an appropriate place to call home. Lofaso had the chance to enjoy the creative freedom she desired. Black Market does not have a single direction, and this is its intention. It would start with dill-flavored potato chips Shishito peppers and finish with Korean Wings. What anchors this bold array of flavors is Antonia. Through her entire career, Lofaso has measured her achievements with her exceptional ability to understand her audience and remain authentic to her personality. Her memorable performance in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars celebrated her distinctiveness in the kitchen, and her skills are still shining in front of the camera as an expert judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup and in regular roles on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso released The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Easy and Delicious recipes in 2012, with Penguin. It also told the story of her challenges when she was a student at the French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea and her son Xea. Lofaso believes that her successes stem from her love of cooking and she is able to keep a finger on the pulse of this industry by focusing in the kitchen. Through her Chefletics brand, she is revolutionizing the aesthetics of the industry, by creating chefwear for both style and practicality. Her main focus is to stay true to her vision. With this in mind she has launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. This gives customers an extremely personal experience.
